SET Awards

On November 17, 2011 the inaugural S.E.T. Awards will be held in Los Angeles, CA. To EIC, Ready on the S.E.T. and…Action! isn’t just a common entertainment industry phrase. In this case, S.E.T. stands for science,engineering and technology, making this an initiative to encourage students to get involved in the fields of science, engineering and technology.

The S.E.T. Awards are presented to movies, TV series, radio and TV news programs, print and online journalism for accurate and impactful entertainment portraying and promoting the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics.

The inaugural S.E.T. Awards are produced by EIC in collaboration with The Boeing Company. Additional support is provided by Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and U.S. News and World Report, with special performances by Stacy Keech and the FIRST Robotics Team from Dos Pueblos High School.

ICON AWARD

The S.E.T. Icon Award is presented to an individual whose creative body of work reflects positively on the fields of science, engineering and technology. We’re pleased to present the first Icon Award to Stan Lee.
