Picture This

A Picture This publication is a guide to the key issues within the realm of specific health and social issues affecting various populations today, as identified by experts, advocates, policy makers, and others working to improve public awareness about and reduce stigma through understanding these important issues. EIC’s Picture This program creates the opportunity for members of the health and social fields to condense and contextualize the key issues in their areas of expertise. The program channels the experts information and transports it to the entertainment industry in an effort to inspire stories that could lead to social change. Extra special thanks to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) for hosting EIC’s Picture This meetings in Washington, D.C., and to our issue-specific partners and especially to the writers and producers who have taken time out of their busy schedules to come to Washington and enlighten everyone in the room about how their jobs are done, and what opportunities and challenges present themselves when addressing health and social issues in their productions. Are you a writer, producer, director, talent, or a member of the creative community? Would you be interested in participating as a panelist for our Picture This meetings?
